Parents / Absence Forms
Welcome to the Ysgol Y Wern community.
We are here to support your child — and you, our parents — every step of the way on your journey through our special school.
If you are considering joining our community, we warmly invite you to get in touch to arrange a visit. We would love to take you on a tour of our school, where you will experience our vibrant environment, meet our brilliant pupils, and get to know our dedicated staff.
During your visit, there will be plenty of opportunities to share information, answer any questions you may have, and give you a real sense of what makes Ysgol Y Wern such a special place to learn, grow, and belong.

Welsh Medium Education
By choosing a Welsh-medium education, you have given your child a truly precious gift — the gift of bilingualism.
Your child will not only have the world of opportunity that comes with speaking two languages, but they will also carry with them a deep pride in their Welsh identity.
At Ysgol Y Wern, we Speak Welsh With Pride.
We are passionate about helping our pupils to grow into confident, proud Welsh citizens — rooted in the richness of our language, our history, and our vibrant culture.
Here, your child will not just learn a language — they will live it, breathe it, and celebrate it every day.
