Our Vision

At Ysgol y Wern, our vision is to provide a school where children, parents, staff, governors, and the wider community can work together to create a welcoming, safe, caring, and industrious environment for every individual.

We aim to celebrate our achievements together as a school community, where every person is valued and treated with respect. We seek to encourage respect throughout the school community for our language and heritage, as well as for other languages and cultures.

The wellbeing and education of the children are at the heart of every decision made at Ysgol y Wern. We strive to provide a rich and balanced curriculum, with sufficient resources to nurture every child's natural curiosity.

Our goal is that the lives of those who leave Ysgol y Wern will have been enriched and broadened through their experiences with us, and that every child will have the ability and desire to continue learning and to face the challenges of their future lives with confidence.
