We would like to thank Gen Kelsang Chokyong who came to visit our school and discuss Buddhism with the pupils of Year4. Gen Kelsang Chokyong also provided us with an experience in guided meditation!

Congratulations to Wil Bullen and Ethan Lia-Williams! They were very successful in the recent Sumdog competition and have reached the top ten! Wil was 6th and Ethan was 9th! An excellent effort! Da iawn bechgyn a da iawn i bawb sy’n cyfrannu! Ewch amdani y tro nesaf blwyddyn 4!

Safer Internet Day- 10th of February 2015!

We are holding a ‘ Safer Internet Day’ poster competition to celebrate ‘Safer Internet Day’ on the 10th of February 2015.

You can include important messages such as ‘ Stay Safe Online’, ‘You never know what to expect, be safe on the Internet’ and ‘Use the internet carefully.’

You can use ‘Paint’ or another appropriate graphics package to create your poster.

The winning poster will have:

• Good spelling accuracy
• A clear message regarding internet safety

Email your posters to ysgolywern@cardiff.gov.uk and put-Internet Poster and your child’s name and class in the Subject box.
