As you are aware, our theme this half term is ‘Fantastic Clothes’. If you have any old clothes to contribute to our role play corners, we would be very grateful. We’re happy to receive anything from shoes to hats, jewellery to fancy dress. Also, we’re more than happy for you to have your contributions back at the end of the half term if you wish. We suggest labelling them with your child’s name.

To celebrate the appointment of our Digital Wizards, the school is running a competition for Years 2 to 6 to design a character to represent digital responsibilities / work in school.

Digital Wizards are pupils in each class from Year 2 to Year 4 who will help support the use of digital equipment in the class.

You can use any digital graphics package, or create a picture on paper and email the picture as a usable photo or create a picture on paper and scan then e-mail your image.

Your image will have to be sent electronically via e-mail, by using a cd-rom or a memory stick.

E-mail ysgolywern@cardiff.go.uk. Type ‘Dewiniaid Competition’ in the subject box.

Alternatively send your cd-rom or USB memory stick to Mrs Williams, Dosbarth Derbyn, Mr John, Yr.5 or Mr Wason Yr.4.
