The main aim of the Ysgol y Wern Parent and Teachers Association is to raise money, to provide additional funds to the school for extra-curricular activities. We do this by organising events aimed at the children (school disco), at families (Christmas and Summer fairs), and at grown-ups (curry and races night, shopping evening, summer ball). The money that we have raised has been used to help pay for buses for school trips, IT equipment and, most recently, the multi-use games area.
We gladly welcome new members! Getting involved allows parents to make a valuable contribution to their children’s education, and to be a part of a friendly and sociable group.
